监视CAN/CAN FD总线网络，编写CAN/CAN FD总线程序，以及和CAN/CAN FD总线设备通讯。广泛应用于汽车、工业、医疗和其它行业。
CAN FD适配器PCAN-USB FD可通过USB把CAN FD和CAN网络连接到电脑。电气隔离达到500V从CAN总线解耦电脑。使用简单并且它的紧凑塑料壳使该接口特别适用于随身携带外出使用。
整套还包含CAN/CAN FD监视器PCAN-View for Windows和编程接口PCAN-Basic。
新的CAN FD标准 (CAN with Flexible Data Rate) 主要特点是更高的数据传输带宽。最大64数据位每个CAN FD帧 (代替目前的8位) 可以最大12 Mbit/s比特率传输。CAN FD向下兼容CAN 2.0 A/B标准，因此CAN FD节点可用于现有的CAN网络。但是，在这种情况下，CAN FD扩展不适用。
ISO/Non-ISO CAN FD：
自从CAN FD首次实施起，协议已经获得改进并且现在被包含在标准ISO 11898-1中。改进后的CAN FD标准不兼容原始协议。
